R L Hayes Roofing & Repairs in Augusta, GA

A big thank you to the team at R.L. Hayes Roofing and Repairs! They did a great job roofing and replacing the skylight in my condo. Having work done on your property when you live out of state can be concerning, but the Hayes team kept me up to date. Very professional work! Highly recommend R.L. Hayes.

One Google search, randomly selected R L Hayes Roofing & Repairs and it was on! Monday, the initial operator taking the call was pleasant and professional. I received a callback in 4 minutes from a wonderful woman who knew exactly what I probably wasn't explaining correctly. Tuesday, assessment site visit was made earlier than the scheduled appointment, very informative and expert customer service. Wednesday, job was completed a day early. Technicians were top notch and went the extra tile to ensure the job was done and would last. Very pleased with my experience.

Best experience I ever had with a contractor! My roof was leaking and it was raining frequently, so I needed help quickly. I contacted the office and received a return call within an hour. After explaining my concern with the leak and current damage, he came out the next day and explained the problem and what needed to be done, and gave me a quote. Short of it, my roof was repaired within a few days under quote. It’s almost like it never happened. No pressure, no chasing down to see when they would arrive, and they cleaned up when they left.

UPDATE: I'm lowering my rating by a bit due to our latest experience. Last time, they came out quickly and got the job done immediately at a great price. I guess they're more busy these days. They came out quick enough, but having the repair done same day wasn't even an option (even though it was simple). The estimate was fairly high (so much so that we contacted another roofer for the job), but the scope of work could have been different, so we won't compare those. Most bothersome was the fact that they didn't even offer the option of a same day repair (like they did last time) and when I called the owner to see if this was possible, he never bothered to call back. ORIGINAL REVIEW Had a hole in my roof from a branch impaling the shingles. Called one roofer out and was quoted over $600 without the guy even getting up there, and told it would take a week for them to come out. Called RL Hayes Roofing for a second opinion. They arrived the next day, hopped right on the roof, quoted me less than one quarter what the other guys did, and had it done in half an hour. Nice guys. Very helpful.

We have used R L Hayes roofing for years for different items, commercially and residentially. They have always been johnny on the spot with communication and timely ness. Their work speaks for itself, you won't find a better roofing company in Augusta.
